OK … quiet pedestrian street in Inverness … amongst the bungalows … open the door and bang!!! An impressive, thoughtfully designed, architectural interior, drawing upon Italian and Nordic design. Karen is a tour de force who made us so welcome. We were attending the Proclaimers concert. She even offered us a lift to the venue!!! Breakfast fab … worth walking 500 miles.

Terrific find … must have been my lucky day.

Not only was the room clean and comfortable, but Karen fed us local, delicious food, and gave us great suggestions for things to do. The house is bright and well kept, and the neighbourhood is safe and an easy walk into the city centre.

Our stay at Karen’s place was absolutely amazing! She is an amazing cook, and I can’t recommend her breakfast enough.
